Isaiah 58 Fast Encouragement

Romans 5:6 "You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly..." (italics mine)

As a child of God, why does it surprise me when God does something so wonderful, so miraculous, so amazing in just the right time? God, our Father, holds all time in His hands. He redeems and forgives in just the right time. He rescues and loves in just the right time. When we were powerless, He saved us in just the right time.

Those words about time are so powerful, yet we don't always believe them. I think it's because we cannot always see or understand what just the right time is when we are in the middle of a circumstance or have a specific desire for something to happen in a specific time frame. I do believe, though, that we can understand what the right time is not.

The right time is not always the time in which we desire for something to happen.
The right time is not always the time in which we plan for something to happen.
The right time is almost never the time in which we try to force something to happen.
And the right time can even be outside of the time we are given in this life.

Every need, every hurt, every situation has a "right time", even though the mystery of "when" is not always revealed to us. How incredible it is to know that God, our Father, who lovingly gave Himself for us at just the right time, knows the right time for each of us in every circumstance. May you be encouraged today as you embrace the truth of God's perfect timing. May you walk in obedience even as you wait for the time that it will be just the right time for your prayer to be answered or your circumstance to be overcome. And more than anything, may you experience the love of God in your life in every moment, because experiencing His love at anytime is always in just the right time.

Thanks for your continued prayers and encouragement. I will report more details about God's perfect timing of provision for the adoption in the near future!
