Yard Sale - March 7th

Same day. Next post. (Playing catch-up).

We could not have asked for more beautiful weather on Saturday (it was a little chilly early that morning, but eventually I got a sunburned nose)! And we could not be more grateful for the friends, family, and our LifeGroup (that's our church's word for SundaySchool/Small Group) friends who donated money, items, time, and muscle to making our yard sale a success. It is difficult to express how humbled and thankful we are every time that we see God provide for this adoption and our family through His people, and we are committed to giving Him the praise, honor, and glory for everything that has and is going to happen on this journey to bring our son home. We thank each of you who gave monetary donations, brought items to sell, helped put out signs, helped tag items, helped promote the yard sale, worked the day of the sale and prayed for the sale to be successful. We love you and cannot thank our God enough for your friendship and support.

It is with great excitement that we can report that with donations, we exceeded our goal of $500.00 and raised $544.38. God provided as he always does, by "exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think" through His grace and power. (see Ephesians 3:20) Please continue to pray for this journey as we trust God to continue to provide. We are going to be announcing more fundraising events and opportunities over the next few months, so if you have any ideas, please pass them on!!

Special Thanks to the following people for your support:

Bobbie and Jerrell Tatum (Grandmama and Grandaddy)
Rick, Ann, and Crystal Carden (Papa, Gran, and Crystal)
