We just got this new photo today--it is the first updated photo we have received since the 3 and 6 month photos we were given in the referral file. This picture was taken when he was 6 days shy of 9 months old. His hair has grown so much! I wish I could see him smile. The report we got says he has two teeth on the bottom and one on the top. He is eating baby food and drinking orange juice in addition to taking milk. I know this is not a very poetic or interesting blog, but it is a Mom's record of all those little milestones I am missing and wishing we could share with him. He still has those beautiful chubby cheeks (that's for you, Denise). He is really growing and we are so grateful to God for his improving health. Please continue to pray for our little boy and for his foster family. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement.

He is beautiful, Casey. I love reading about milestones and I am also a fan of chubby cheeks since Nate's cheeks are pretty chubby. I can't imagine the anticipation y'all must feel. We really hated missing class last night, but unfortunately Nate and I are still not 100% yet. Hopefully we will see y'all Sunday.
