God is writing Anderson's story

As we prepare our hearts and minds through prayer and study to welcome this new member of our family, I have been able to read some wonderful resources from Focus on the Family and other respected organizations and professionals about honoring and sharing our child's life story with him. This is his story that God is writing, and I have been reminded that the parts of that story which may be painful or difficult are not mine to tell, they are his when he is old enough and ready. With that being said, many of you know some of Anderson's history because we have shared it with you in order to ask for your specific prayers for him, his biological family, and his foster family. I am so open about my life and family, that I did not realize until the past couple of days that I have been sharing with friends and family things about our son that he should never hear from someone else and that he should decide when to share with people outside of our immediate family. I am sharing this on my blog to ask those of you who do know about our son's past to remember that it is his story and to respect that by keeping it a matter of prayer and by not sharing it with anyone other than your spouse . Thank you so much for loving our family and sharing this journey with us!

**We should have new pictures next week from Thailand that I will post as soon as we get them! Please continue to pray for Anderson's health and safety, for God's provision for our family, and for all of the waiting children around the world.
